ARLINGTON, VA - Former U.S. Undersecretary of Agriculture for Food, Nutrition and Consumer Services Ellen Haas today announced her choices for the 10 best healthy food blogs. Haas, a recognized leader in the nutrition field, was responsible for the healthy school lunch program (1993-97) and is President and founder of healthy living site FoodFit.com, which is part of The HealthCentral Network, Inc. This is the first year Haas has named the top healthy food blogs, chosen for their focus on local foods and healthy cooking. The blogs feature important food policy issues and simple, nutritious recipes.
